Girls soccer comes away with one loss and one big win
On Monday, April 18, the girls soccer team had a hard-fought loss on the road in Garden City, losing the close battle, 1-0, which brought their record to 7-2.
Then on Thursday, April 21, the girls made the long trip to Liberal to take on the Redskins.
This time, the girls came out on top with a 2-1 victory against Liberal with sophomore Arely Maldonado scoring the game-winning goal with 36 seconds left in the first overtime.
With a record of 8-2, the girls will face Great Bend on Monday April 25th for their next game.
