The boys’ soccer team played and defeated Garden City on Oct. 20.
In the 24th minute, sophomore Ethan Nunnery made the first goal, assisted by Lasse Beorgers. The second goal of the game was made by junior Michael Reyes, assisted by Nunnery, in the 40th minute.
At halftime, the score was 2-0.
Garden City scored in the 44th minute before the game was called in the 50th minute due to weather.
The final score was 2-1 in favor of Hays.
