Softball falls to Goodland on March 26
The girls softball team fell to Goodland in a doubleheader on March 26. The Indians lost 6-3 in the first game and 7-6 in the second game.
Junior Nicole Dinkel had a double, while junior Tessa Stickel had a triple in the first game. Senior Kaylie Schoendaller, junior Shannon Schumacher and Stickel each had a RBI as well. In addition, juniors Albany Schaffer, Kylie Brown, Erika Arnhold and Dinkel each had a stolen base.
In the second game, Schaffer had a double. Schoendaller was the only player with a homerun along with three RBI. Junior Madison Prough also had a stolen base in this game.
The team is now 0-4 in its season.
The next game for the softball team is on March 31 in the Valley Center Tri.
