Boys swim team places ninth at state Feb. 21-22
5A-1A Boys State Swimming and Diving Championships Feb. 21-22
Team Scores: Hays tied for ninth place over all with McPherson out of 31 teams.
The team set four new school records which include: 200 medley relay: 1:49.40; 100 butterfly: junior Morgan Mathews, 56.46; 100 free: senior Tommy Consiglio, 50.07; and 200 free relay: 1:34.93. Mathews was also designated second team All-State.
