The volleyball team traveled to Garden City on Sept. 24 for the Holcomb Invitational and went 4-2. Teams present were Lakin, Cimarron, Ulysses, Holcomb, Garden City and Hugoton.

Hays vs Lakin

16-25, 25-16, 25,-18

Freshman Tasiah Nunnery had 12 kills, sophomores Kallie Leiker and Hannah McGuire had seven digs and 17 assists respectfully. Sophomores Jaycee Dale and Jaysa Wichers had six blocks.

Hays vs Cimarron

25-23, 25-13

Nunnery had 10 kills and McGuire and sophomore Mattie Hutchison had eight assists.

Hays vs Ulysses

16-25, 28-26, 25-17

Nunnery had 10 kills, Leiker had 12 digs. Senior Rachel Taylor and Wichers had five blocks.

Hays vs Holcomb

16-25, 18-25

Dale had five kills and block and McGuire had eight assists.

Hays vs Garden City

10-25, 17-25

Nunnery had seven kills and digs. Hutchison had eight assists.

Hays vs Hugoton

25-14, 25-22

Dale and Wichers had seven kills, Dale also had six blocks. McGuire had 15 assists and Leiker had seven digs.

The ladies are now 7-7 on the season their next action is Sept.29 at home
