The lady Indian golfers placed third at the Salina South Invitational Sept. 23.

The Indians totaled for 18 holes a 354 with Manhattan placing first with a total of 344, followed by Goddard-Eisenhower in second with 349, and the Indians in third. Other teams were Dodge City with a 398, Hutchinson, 402, Great Bend, 409, Salina Central, 423, Derby, 437, Newton, 443, Concordia, 445, Salina South, 449.

Individually sophomore Katie Brungardt took sixth place with an 86, junior Taylor DeBoer placed eighth with an 87, senior Lexie Shaben placed ninth with a 90, and sophomore Rhian Patterson placed tenth with a 91

The Indians will go to the Liberal Invitational on Sept. 25.
