The Hays High School boys golf team played their third Western Athletic Conference (WAC) tournament at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City on April 27. They played 18 holes, where par was 72.

Senior Landen Clark led this tournament, shooting an 86 for 11th place. Seniors Blake Buckles and Ashton Bickle tied with an 88, placing 14th and 15th respectively, and freshman Trey Oakley placed 19th with a 91. As a team, they shot 353 for fourth place.

Their next tournament was on May 1 in Great Bend at Lake Barton Golf Course with a par of 71.

Bickle placed third with a score of 78, Clark took sixth with an 80, Buckles shot a 90 for 14th and junior Braxton Banker shot a 94 for 15th. They placed third with a score of 342.
