Volleyball goes 1-1 at sub-state tournament

The lady Indian volleyball team went 1-1 at the sub-state tournament on Oct. 26 at Maize South. They played Wichita Northwest and Maize South.  

 

They played Wichita Northwest for the first game of the tournament. They won in two sets with scores of 28-26 and 25-20 

 

Senior Tasiah Nunnery had 10 kills and nine assists, and senior Sierra Bryant had seven kills. Junior Kyah Summers had six assists, and senior Brooke Denning and junior Brooklyn Schaffer had 10 digs each.  

 

In the championship game of the tournament, the lady Indians took on Maize South and lost in two sets with scores of 12-25 and 13-25Nunnery had five kills 

 

They finished the season 22-14 and will have seven seniors graduate.
