Baseball sweeps Dodge City at Dodge on April 3

The Indian baseball team is undefeated in their first four games against Dodge City and Russell.

The Indian baseball team won against Dodge City in a doubleheader on April 3. The Indians beat Dodge City 20-1 in the first game and 12-2 in the second game.

In the first game, seniors Hunter Brown and Cole Murphy along with juniors Palmer Hutchison and Cody Petersen all scored three runs, while senior Trey Vanpelt and juniors Will Sennett and Trey Riggs scored two runs. Juniors Trey McCrae and Chase Voth scored one run. Junior Palmer Hutchison had four RBIs.

In the second game, senior Hunter Brown and junior Palmer Hutchison scored three runs. Junior Will Sennet scored two runs, and seniors Cole Murphy and Trey Vanpelt and juniors Cody Petersen and Trey McCrae scored one run. Junior Trey Riggs had three RBIs.

The next action for the Indians is an away game against Liberal on April 13.
