Softball defeats Colby in double header on April 21
The Lady Indian softball team defeated Colby in a double header on April 21. The score for both games was 11-9, with junior Madison Prough pitching the first game and junior Erika Arnhold pitching the second.
In the first game, juniors Kylie Brown and Tessa Stickel each had a triple. Junior Nicole Dinkel scored a homerun and had three RBIs. Prough followed with two RBIs. Senior Kaylie Schoendaller, Brown and Stickel one RBI each.
Prough had two doubles while Schoendaller had one double during the second game. Stickel had two homeruns and three RBIs. Senior Emily Peckham, Prough and Brown each had two RBIs. Schoendaller also had one RBI.
The girls’ season is now 3-9. Their next game is a makeup game against Great Bend on April 28.
