Competing at their own home meet, the boys swimming team took second.

Placing at his first meet in fifth was freshman Austin Chambers.  Chambers’ time was 2:37.05.

Sophomore Blake Mathews competed in the 200 and the 500 Yard Freestyle.  In the 200, he placed second with a time of 2:14.30.  Then, he swam and placed first in the 500 with a time of 6:13.85.

Swimming in the 50 and the 100 Yard Freestyle was sophomore Derek Drees. Drees placed first in both races.  His time in the 50 was 24.70 and for the 100 was 56.47.

Sophomore Connor Hess competed in the 200 Yard IM. Hess also competed in the 100 Yard Backstroke. His place and time in the 200 were first and 2:37.54, and in the 100 he placed third with a time of 1:12.96.

Placing sixth in the 100 Yard Freestyle was sophomore Joshua Brungardt.  His time was 1:02.32.

In the 100 Yard Backstroke, was sophomore Spencer Greathouse.  Greathouse placed fourth in a time of 1:31.13.

Junior Trevor Rohn competed in the 50 Yard Freestyle and the 100 Yard Backstroke.  In the 50, Rohn placed second with a time of 25.49. In the 100, in a time of 1:28.42 he finished in second.

Competing in the 50 Yard Freestyle and the 100 Yard Butterfly was junior Torrey Contrerez. Contrerez placed fifth in the 50 with a time of 28.22.  He then placed third in the 100 with a time of 1:30.91.

In the 100 Yard Backstroke junior Nick Nolte placed fifth with a time of 1:27.17.

Nolte, Rohn, Hess and Drees competed in the 200 Yard Medley Relay together and placed second. Their time was 2:07.71.

Sophomore Josue Lopez, Hess, Brungardt and Contrerez all competed in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay and placed second with a time of 1:51.41.  Mathews, Chambers, Nelson and Greathouse also competed in that relay and placed fourth. Their time was 2:01.46.

Rohn, Brungardt, Mathews and Drees competed together in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay.  Their time was 4:00.42 which placed them at second. Senior Ben Glassman, Rivera, Chambers and Lopez also competed in that relay and placed fourth with a time of 4:38.24.
