Softball team members kickstart their season

At Hays High, spring sports are now in full swing, with the softball team starting its season the week of March 27-31.

On Tuesday, March 28, the team traveled to Garden City to play a single game. The varsity team defeated the Buffs for the first time in two years, with the score being 13-6. The junior varsity team also defeated the Buffalos, 20-9.

On Friday, March 31, they will also travel to Valley Center to play the team who currently holds the state title.
