Sophomore Tasiah Nunnery pulls up for a shot in a recent game against the Liberal Redskins.

The Lady Indian basketball team are now 10-6 after the team’s loss against the Liberal Redskins on Feb 9.

After the first quarter, the Indians were up 11-6 against the Redskins, although the Indians would start the game out with the lead, they would not stay in the lead throughout the entirety of the game.

The Indians would put up 7 points in the second quarter, not outscoring the Redskins who scored 14 points in the second quarter. This put the Redskins up 20-18.

The Indians would gain the lead back in the third quarter.

The Panthers outscored the Indians in the fourth quarter, locking the Redskins a win, 46-38.

Leading the team to the win in scoring was sophomore Brooke Denning with 13 points, followed by junior Savannah Schneider with 11 points, junior Jaycee Dale with five points, juniors Kallie Leiker and Madyson Flax with three points, sophomore Isabel Robben with two points and sophomore Tasiah Nunnery with one point.

Leading offensive rebounds was Robben with four rebounds. Leading assists was Schneider with three.
