The boys basketball team started off hot against WAC rivals, Great Bend. The Indians hit three three-pointers going on a 9-0 to start the first quarter.

By the end of the first quarter, Hays lead 14-10. The second quarter Hays would push the lead to 13, leading at the half 28-15 shooting nine for 19 in the first half.

Hays came out of the half with the same passion as the first pushing the score to 34-25. Hays would bring the lead up to 25 points.

Hays lead 41-25 at the end of the third quarter. Hays cruised through the fourth quarter winning the game 51-37.
