The boys basketball team was defeated by the Dodge City Demons, 53-44, on Feb. 24. The Indians now have a 12-7 overall record on the year.

Ending the first quarter down 13-2, the Indians fought to make a comeback. Their efforts were admirable and they managed to enter the final period only down 33-26. The boys refused to give up, scoring 18 points in the last quarter against Dodge City’s 20, resulting in a nine point loss.

Cash Hobson had 13 points on the board, the leading scorer for this game. Isaiah Nunnery was also in double digits with 11 points. Brady Werth and Keith Dryden had nine and six points respectively, followed by Nathan Romme and Drew Young with three and two.

Support the Indians by attending the home game against Great Bend on Feb. 27.
