Boys’ tennis plays at Salina South

The boys’ tennis team had a meet at Salina South on April 24. Other teams at the meet were Valley Center, Salina Central, Andover, Abilene, Smoky Valley, and Salina South.

The number one singles player was sophomore Mikey Ploutz and he made a 1-3 mark. His win was against a member of his own team.

The number two singles player was sophomore Logan VanDerWege. He played well but was unable to secure a win.

The number one doubles team consisted of senior Austin Berry and junior Andrew McGinnis. They made a 3-1 mark and took 9th place at the meet.

The number two doubles team consisted of freshmen Brayden Dreher and Jacob Alexander. They put up a good effort but were unable to secure a win.
