The softball team swept Junction City in its season opener, 11-0 and 15-2.
In the first game sophomore Katelyn Schumacher pitched a no-hitter with eight strikeouts in five innings.
Junior Makenzie Flaska had three hits, while sophomore Courtney Storer had three RBI’s in the first game.
Flaska then pitched the second game giving up two runs, but had 10 strikeouts.
Schumacher and junior Paige Lunsford both had four RBI’s.
The next game for the softball team is Thursday versus Maize South.
