Boys basketball hosts end-of-season banquet, presents student awards

To close out the season, the boys basketball banquet was held in the cafeteria at 6 p.m. on April 18.

The team finished strong with a 22-1 run, alongside winning sub-state, league, the Colby Orange & Black Classic and the Hays City Shootout, resulting in the best season in school history.

“Our guys worked extremely hard all season and remained coachable and unselfish throughout,” coach Alex Hutchins said. “Moving forward, we’d like to continue to improve our shooting, especially from the three and the free throw line.”
