“I went to the academic awards night because it was my first year and I wanted to support my brother since he is a senior,” freshman Taleia McCrae said.
During the night McCrae was awarded a white letter for lettering in three sports and had all of her sports and academic achievements announced.
Junior Megan Flavin says she went to awards night to see her senior friends get awarded and receive her own awards.
Students and teachers are encouraged to go to the awards night.
“I taught the seniors when they were juniors last year so it was nice to see them receive their awards and activities that they got,” math teacher Kayla Brown said.
