Students’ opinions on lunch

School lunches are served during 3rd hour every school day. The lunches vary from lasagna to hot dogs to roast beef sandwiches. Most students eat these lunches every day.

“I like lunch some days like the macaroni and cheese day,” sophomore Dawson Rooney said.

Students have been mostly eating the same lunches since kindergarten. It all comes down to opinion when it comes too favored lunch days, but a lot of students enjoy certain lunches.

“I know a lot of my friends and I really like breakfast pizza,” senior Michaela VonLintel said.

Some lunches aren’t as well liked as others. Unlike meals such as breakfast pizza certain foods the school serves are dreaded by certain students.

“I don’t really like the days where the only options are hamburgers,” freshman Alexandra Hagerman said, “I just really like variety.”

Students are given an option of hamburgers or paying extra for a salad and some students find tis to be best choice to make.

“I usually get a hamburger but on rare occasions I’ll get the actual lunch that’s being served,” sophomore Kelli Buxton said.

Lunch is an important part of many students’ lives and even though students often complain, some are thankful for the lunch they are served.

“I’m really glad we get served our lunches,” sophomore Ivy Walker.
