Inspired by real events, “Radium Girls” tells a story about seeking justice. Grace Fryer is a dial painter in a watch factory, and she paints watches with radium. The other girls in the factory begin to fall ill with an unknown ailment. When Grace realizes that the company she works for is the reason she and the other employees are falling sick, she fights in court.
“The playwright has done an amazing job of capturing the element of sympathy and understanding from all perspectives and is sure to tap into the audience’s emotions as it unfolds,” Windholz said.
