Cross country competed at the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) meet at Liberal on Oct. 15.

Cross country competed at the regional meet at Great Bend on Oct. 24.

Hays High’s boys varsity placed sixth overall with 143 points, and girls varsity placed fourth overall with 90 points. Freshman Arely Maldonado will be the only Indian runner competing at state on Oct. 31.
