Finishing as league runners-up overall, the Hays High girls tennis team had its Western Athletic Conference meet in Dodge City on Monday, Oct. 3. The results are as follows:

No. 1 Singles: senior Brittnee Leiker – third place

No. 2 Singles: senior Katrina Delimont – third place

No. 1 Doubles: seniors Danica Scheve and Kaylor Wellbrock – second place

No. 2 Doubles: seniors Morgen Berry and Ava Neil – first place

“I think overall the tennis team did really well, and we gave it our all,” Scheve said.
