Volleyball goes 2-1 in Pratt

Juniior Brooklyn Schaffer bumps the ball in an attempt to score a point for the Lady Indians.

The lady Indians volleyball team traveled to Pratt on Sept. 19, where they played Ulysses, Pratt and Garden City and left 2-1 on the day.  

 

They beat Ulysses is two sets, 25-21 and 25-17. Senior Tasiah Nunnery had 10 kills, and junior Kaitlin Suppes had 11 assists. 

 

The lady Indians beat Pratt in three sets, 25-10, 17-25 and 25-17. Nunnery had eight kills and nine assists, and junior Alexa Moeckel had seven kills.  

 

They took on Garden City for their last match of the day and fell to them in two sets, 18-25 and 18-25. Nunnery had nine kills, and Suppes had eight assists.  

 

The junior varsity went 2-1 on the day, and the freshmen went 3-0 in Colby.  

The next action for varsity is at the Wamego tournament on Sept. 28. They are currently 8-3 on the season, as they look to improve their record.
