First tournament results in, first win for golf

Boys golf take first place at their first meet for the 2019 season on April 4 in McPherson.

Seniors Josh Norris and Trey McCrae as well as sophomore Jason Krannawitter were the teams three top 10 finishers. Norris with a 71 taking first, McCrae with a 73 placing sixth and Krannawitter coming in eighth with a 77.

The fourth score that was taken was freshman Wesley Oakley who took 36th place with a score of 90.

Those top four scores gave the Indians 311 points earning them first place.

The other two team members junior Tucker Johnson and sophomore Weston Hoskins scored 93 and 96 earning 42nd and 46th place respectively.

The Indians will be traveling to Garden City on April 13.
