5A-1A Boys State Swimming and Diving Championships Feb. 21-22

Team Scores: Hays tied for ninth place over all with McPherson out of 31 teams.

The team set four new school records which include: 200 medley relay: 1:49.40; 100 butterfly: junior Morgan Mathews, 56.46; 100 free: senior Tommy Consiglio, 50.07; and 200 free relay: 1:34.93. Mathews was also designated second team All-State.

200 Medley Relay: 11. A team: senior Boone Pruter, senior Austin Chambers, Mathews, Consiglio, 1:49.40.

200 Free; 11. Consiglio, 1:55.47.

100 Fly; 8. Mathews, 57.28.

100 Free; 6. Consiglio, 50.07.
