The girls varsity tennis team went to the McPherson tournament on Oct. 5. There were many teams at the meet and it was organized into pool play.
Playing number one singles was sophomore Brooke Forinash who took 9th place. Playing number two singles was senior Julie Balzer who took 13th place.
The number one doubles team of junior Emily McPherson and senior Kelsee DeBoer took 14th place. The number two doubles team of junior Ashley Cossaart and senior Abbey Rupke took 16th place.
It was a cold meet full of hard competition.
