The girls varsity tennis team played at the Salina Central meet on Sep. 14. At the meet they placed 12^th out of 26 teams.

The singles teams played at Oakland Park while the doubles teams played at Salina Central High School.

The meet was set up into three different brackets based on when the teams would win or lose.

The singles teams were sophomore Brooke Forinash who took 12^th place with a 2-5 mark and junior Emily McPherson who took 23^rd with a 1-3 mark.

The doubles teams both had a 1-3 mark at the meet.

Seniors Julie Balzer and Kelsee DeBoer playing together for their first time took 23^rd.  Senior Molly Barnett and junior Ashley Cossaart took 22^nd at the meet.
