The girls varsity tennis team took fourth out of six teams at the Great Bend meet Sep.10.

The other teams that participated in the meet were Great Bend, Sterling, Meade, Larned and Dodge City.

Great Bend won the meet with 21 team points.

Sophomore Brooke Forinash played number one singles with a 1-2 mark. Brooke received fifth place over all.

Senior Julie Balzer played number two singles with a 2-1 mark and placed with third in the meet.

The number one doubles team was Molly Barnett and Kelsee Deboer and the number two doubles team was juniors Ashley Cossaart and Emily McPherson.

Both doubles teams took fourth place with a 1-2 mark.
