Prom candidates and spirit days announced
Knowing that you are recognized and appreciated is a feeling that many people enjoy. Twelve of Hays High’s seniors get that chance because of their nominations for Prom king and queen.
These seniors include Alisara Arial, Dominic Bainter, Remington Cox, Andrew Duke, Ginny Ke, McKena McBride, Gabriel McGuire, Marrissa Raynesford, Caden Riat, Magdalen Robben, Dalyn Schwartz and Lauren Wagner.
Prom will be held on April 10 at the Hilton Garden Inn from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Students must arrive before 7 p.m. and must remain until at least 8 p.m. Formal dress is required. The theme for this year’s Prom is the “Roaring ‘20s,” a time of flappers, fun, jazz and prosperity.
During the week of Prom, Hays High students will also get to show their school spirit with dress-up days. Tuesday will be Beach Day, Wednesday will be Career Day, Thursday will be Holiday Day and Friday is Dress-Up Day, on which students will dress in formal attire.
