StuCo Color Run/Walk rescheduled to Sept. 21 due to weather

The StuCo Color Run/Walk that was originally scheduled for Aug. 24 has been postponed to Sept. 21.

StuCo rescheduled due to the rainy weather we’d been having,” StuCo President Maddie Lohmeyer said. “We were concerned about the trail flooding. By rescheduling, we hope to have stronger participation and more time to spread the word.

Not only is the event on a different date, but the time the event is taking place is also different. Instead of registration starting at 8 a.m., registration will now begin at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 21

The run will start at 11 a.m., and the walk will begin at 11:15 at the cross country trail.

Student who fill out this form and turn it into the office along with $10 by Sept. 13 will receive a free T-shirt.

Registration will also be accepted on the day of the race with T-shirts being available for $5.

Students should participate because it’s a great way to get yourself pumped up for Homecoming and cross an item off your bucket list with some friends,” Lohmeyer said. “This event is not just for runnersYou can run, walk, bike and even dance the trail.”
