International Club is sponsoring a series of lectures called “Welcome to your Community”.

The second lecture in the series will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 7 pm in the lecture hall and will be free and open to the public.

Featured speakers include members of the Hays community who participate in the international exchange program at Fort Hays State University by hosting an international student in their homes.

Topics will include how to provide more contact with other cultures and how students can broaden their own horizons without the expense of travel.

Speakers represent Community Connections, Friendship Families, and Sister Cities of Hays.

Because they are personally involved in the exchange program, speakers will be able to answer any questions students might have about the hosting experience.
