For the second game in a row sophomore Brady Werth put up 22 points in the 79-41 blowout win against Pratt.
Hays led from start to finish and had a commanding 16 point lead at the end of the first quarter.
At the half the Indians had a 41-18 lead.
The third quarter didn’t get any better as the lead was extended to 34.
Coach Rick Keltner cleared the bench in the fourth quarter as the team closed out the 79-41 win.
The highlight of the night was when senior Adam Deterding stole the ball to start the fourth quarter and go in for the dunk on his was to nine points.
Hays is now 6-0 and has matched the total number of wins the team had last season.
The next action for the boys is Friday, Jan. 4, at Liberal.
