In the first game after the boys basketball teams championship run at the Hays City Shootout the team came out on top again, 63-29.
The boys played at Colby, which they already beat 69-23 in the first round of the Shootout.
In the game the team only had three turnovers compared to the 13 that were committed last time Hays played Colby.
Junior Lane Clark led the team in scoring with 13.
With senior Derek Bixenman out, due to injury, fellow senior Nick Petz started in his place getting 11 points.
The next game for the boys is Tuesday, Dec. 11 against Junction City.
