The boys soccer team claimed a 3-2 win over cross-town rival TMP.
In the first half the boys dominated the game as the team claimed 26 shots to TMP’s one, but was only able to get one goal for the 1-0 halftime lead.
Sophomore Jordan Windholz had the goal off of a pass from fellow sophomore Lane Clark.
In the second half TMP scored first on a free kick from junior Michael Gonzalez.
The Indians then scored twice one from Windholz again and the other from junior Kellen Griffin.
Windholz scored when he received another pass from Clark, dribbled across the top of the box and finished the shot far post.
Griffin scored on a through ball from junior Cody Brown.
TMP scored once again on a free kick from Gonzalez.
“We didn’t finish real well,” senior Shane Sulzman said. “We got the win though.”
The next game for the Indians is to be decided as they play their first round regional game next Tuesday, Oct. 25.
