On Jan. 23, the Options Student Advisory Board gathered in the Lecture Hall to have its monthly meeting and discuss upcoming events. Some events this semester will include poster making, Chalk About Love and a bake sale in late April.
The club hosted poster decorating on Friday, Feb. 2 in Gym B, where the members made posters advocating against teen dating violence awareness month, which is February.
Options will hold Chalk About Love on Feb. 23 on the front lawn of the school. Chalk About Love is where everyone comes out to the front walkway of the school to write encouraging messages with chalk, which will be provided.
“We would love to have everyone come out and write messages on the walkway!” senior Lily Garrison said.
