The annual Orchestra Ice Cream Concert was Mon. March 31. This concert is to recognize seniors in Orchestra.

A few students have comments on how they think it went.

Senior Breanne Kruse said every year Orchestra plays an ice cream concert to showcase their contest pieces.

“There are also some people who play their solos or quartets for regional contest,” Kruse said. “It’s always nice to show appreciation to our audience by serving ice cream at the end. This year went fairly well.”

Freshman Tanner Callis also commented on this year’s ice cream concert.

“To me, the concert went fairly well,” Callis said. “I performed a solo there, and so I was kind of nervous, but it all worked out.”

Callis said he enjoyed the opportunity to showcase the Orchestra’s talent.

“I like the ice cream concert mainly because it is the only time when people come just to see the HHS orchestra,” Callis said. “It really means a lot to see people who actually support the orchestra.”
