Hays High School’s boys and girls bowling team faced off in two away games, with the first meet against Great Bend on Jan. 29, and the second against Dodge City on Jan. 30.
At the Great Bend meet, Hays took the first three places in this meet. Freshman Keaton Brown bowled a 544, taking first place. Sophomore Tyler Huynh earned second place with a 519, and junior Will Clark finished in third place with a 506.
At the Dodge City meet, senior Abigail Redding-Boyer placed second with a 406 for the girls, and sophomore Ben Bergman bowled a 546 and placed third for the boys.
“So far, so good,” Clark said. “I’m excited for regionals because this varsity team this year works really well together.”
