The new Unified Bowling team had its first meet of the season in Garden City on Thursday, Oct. 20. At the meet, Hays Team #1 missed placing third by just three pins.

The team also had a meet on Tuesday, Oct. 25 in Liberal, where Hays had four lanes that they bowled in. In Lane 1, they finished with a score of 648 after six games, Lane 2 had 465 points, Lane 3 had 328 points and Lane 4 had 329 points.
