The Hays High Indians had their first boys soccer game of the season on Tuesday, Aug. 30 against Garden City at home.

It was a closely fought game, which the Indians lost, 3-1. The lone goal came from junior Brantlee Staab.

“I think we played well, but we just didn’t finish how we needed to in order to win,” Staab said.

The next game was against Wichita West on Monday, Sept. 5 as part of the Wichita Titan Classic.
