The girls enjoyed the season and the memories they made.

“My favorite part of tennis was always coming to practice just read to have a good time,” Potter said.

Everyone has a favorite part of tennis but some students loved it all.

“I didn’t really have a favorite part of tennis,” Fairbank said. “I loved it all. I loved getting to know everyone and learning and getting better at tennis. I also loved all of our inside jokes from tennis, like, ‘Boooooo!,’ ‘Are tennis balls green or yellow?’ (They are green, by the way, Maysyn), ‘What did Mr. Dreher say?,’ ‘Broccoli heads,’ ‘Oreos’ and everything else.”

While some students like the fun others enjoyed improving their skills.

“My favorite part of tennis was slowly, but surely, improving my skills with people I love,” McBride said. “Alexis White and I have been in tennis together since freshman year, and we somehow made it from awful freshman to varsity by each other’s side, so I absolutely love the fact we got to go through that journey together. I also loved getting to know many teammates along the way.”
