The Lady Indians recently played in the Great Bend Tournament on Oct. 3, improving their season score with a 4-1 for the day. Other teams present at the tournament were Hutchinson, St. John, Phillipsburg, Salina Central, and Great Bend.

Hays vs. Hutchinson

25-12, 25-14

Senior Audra Schmeidler had six kills while senior Taylor Groen Younger had 10 assists.

Hays vs. St. John

25-14, 25-12

Senior Kylie Brown had six kills and senior Madison Prough had 12 assists. Groen Younger put up three service aces.

Hays vs. Phillipsburg

25-12, 23-25, 25-16

Senior Tessa Stickel had 13 kills.  Prough led with 18 assists and Groen Younger followed with 15 assists. Senior Albany Schaffer had 19 digs.

Hays vs. Salina Central

25-15, 22-25, 25-16

Stickel had 12 kills while Groen Younger put up 16 assists. Senior Nicole Dinkel had 19 digs.

Hays vs. Great Bend

18-25, 25-21, 23-25

Schmeidler had 12 kills while Prough put up 15 assists. Dinkel had 20 digs.
