Girls golf takes third at Garden City on Sept. 14
The girls golf team participated at the Garden City Invitational on Sept. 14. Senior Taylor DeBoer and junior Katie Brungardt placed at the top of the individual medalists, first and second respectively. Both golfers had a score of 86 each, leading to a playoff in which DeBoer won with a par on the first playoff hole.
The team took third with a score of 411. In first place was Garden City with a score of 365, followed by Goodland with 384. Other team scores were Syracuse 432, Liberal 441, Dodge City 444, Lakin 467, and Great Bend 467.
