Girls soccer defeats Augusta, 2-0 on April 4 in final round of tournament
The Lady Indians soccer team ended the McPherson Tournament on April 4 with a 2-0 win over Augusta. The girls finished seventh in the tournament.
Sophomore Tressa Becker scored the first goal for the team at the 33rd minute, assisted by sophomore Maddie Keller. The score was 1-0 at halftime. At the 67th minute, sophomore Talyn Kleweno, assisted by senior Brooke Russell, scored another goal.
The girls move into WAC play on April 7 at home against Dodge City.
