Girls soccer falls to Salina South in tournament
The Lady Indians soccer team played in the first round of the McPherson Invitational on March 31 against Salina South. The score was 6-2, in the favor of Salina South.
At halftime, the score was 3-0. Sophomore Talyn Kleweno made two goals in the 48th and 49th minutes, the first assisted by sophomore Maddie Keller and the second by sophomore CJ Norris.
Now the score at 3-2, the South then scored three more goals after that.
The next game for the Lady Indians is April 2 in a consolation game in the second round of the tournament.
