Volleyball goes 2-0 at home meet on Sept. 16
The Lady Indian volleyball team is now 10-0 after the home meet on Sept. 16. Playing against Nickerson and Hoisington, the squad won victories against both teams.
Opposing Nickerson, the Indians played straight games of 25-13 and 25-19 victories. Juniors Kylie Brown and Tessa Stickel each had five kills while junior Albany Schaffer had six digs. Junior Madison Prough put up eight assists for the team.
In their second and final game, the team played Hoisington, winning a pair of victories of 25-13 and 25-18 decisions. Senior Mattie Schlaefli, Brown and Stickel each had five kills and Schaffer had a total of nine digs. Prough continued the evening with nine assists and three aces.
The Lady Indians will be traveling to Garden City this Thursday, Sept. 19 for their next action.
