The last tournament for the girls golf team was at the state tournament on Monday Oct. 21 at Tex Consolver golf course in Wichita. They finished as a team in the eighth place spot out of 12 teams with a score of 393.

The team shot a 205 with the top four scores on the front 9 but came back with a 188 on the back nine.

Individually, junior Lexie Schaben finished in a tie for 21^st with a score of 94 followed by freshman Katie Brungardt with a 96 that tied for 27^th. Junior Elissa Jensen tied for 37^th with a score of 100 and freshman Rhian Patterson scored a 103 finishing with a tie for 46^th.

Sophomore Taylor DeBoer finished with a tie for 64^th place at a score of 111 followed by junior Macie Mayo in a tie for 73^rd with a final score of 114.

There wer 91 individual golfers.

Other team scores were Kaupaun Mt. Carmel, 360; Bishop Carroll, 366; St. Thomas Aquinas, 373; Andover, 386; St. James Academy, 387; Shawnee Heights, 390; Blue Valley Southwest, 390; Salina Central, 398; Goddard Eisenhower, 401; Topeka Seamen, 401; Great Bend, 446.
