Volleyball goes undefeated at home meet on Oct. 7
With the season coming to an end, the Indian volleyball squad is now 11-15 after its home meet on Oct. 7 where it went undefeated.
For the first match the squad faced off against Colby. The team won the first game with a 25-12 decisions while it lost the second game 15-25 taking the match into a third game. In the third game ended with a 25-18 decision claiming a win for the Indians.
Hays faced off against Liberal in its second match winning in two games. In the first game the girls won with a 25-23 decision and then won in the second game with a 25-22 decision.
The last game of the day for the lady Indians was against Phillipsburg where in the first game, the girls won with a 25-21 decision and won the match with a 25-22 decision in the second game.
Sophomore Albany Schaffer led the way with 59 digs. Sophomore Madison Prough had 36 assists while sophomore Kylie Brown had a team high of 16 kills and Junior Ashlyn Parish followed with 13 kills
The next action for the team will be WAC at Dodge Oct. 19.
