Audio/visual, journalism students visit Tiger Media Network
On Monday, March 27 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., students from the Audio/Visual Communications and Journalism departments visited Fort Hays State University’s Tiger Media Network open house.
The open house was an opportunity for high school students to see not only what FHSU had to offer, but also what they may be interested in when they go to college.
There were different learning stations for the students to visit, including stations about graphic design, radio, social media and television, to name a few, and students could move from station to station to learn about the specific areas that they were interested in. There was also beverages and snacks for the students.
“My favorite part was when they let us be interactive with all the different equipment they had.” said senior Ashton Putz
