FFA visits Indianapolis for national convention
Hays High’s FFA organization got to experience travelling on Oct. 25 to 29, as they went to Indianapolis, Ind., for the FFA national convention.
During the trip, the students visited the St. Louis Arch on the way to Indianapolis, as well as went on multiple agriculture tours and heard from multiple speakers at the convention.
“My favorite part was the pumpkin patch when we went to Indianapolis,” junior Cyrus Vajnar said.
The FFA students said they had a great time being able to experience Indianapolis, to meet new people and to learn new things. Since it was a national convention, the Hays FFA members met FFA members from other states and agriculture colleges and vendors.
“We always had fun talking on the drive and at the motel playing cards,” junior Wyatt Grabbe said.
